Serving up traditional Spanish tapas, as well as seasonal specials, this Battersea spot is a popular one with locals. Perfect for a casual date, the ambience is modern yet cosy, with warm wooden tones in the dining hall and marble accents by the bar area. The atmosphere is best at dinner time, with sofuse lighting, candlelit tables and woven baskets hanging from the ceiling.

Some of my favourite tapas include huevos rotos; croquetas, patatas bravas and of course paella, to be ordered in group. Start with an Aperol spritz or glass of Ana Codornìu cava, followed by a bottle of earthy Beronia to go with your tapas…rigorously to share!
